England will not win World Cup

Former Arsenal legend Tony Adams said that the England national team will not win the 2018 World Cup in Russia because of the Tottenham players. He said that the national team is made up of five Tottenham Hotspurs players namely Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Danny Rose, Eric Dier and Kieran Trippier. The former Arsenal defender said that these players have won nothing with their club despite the fact that they have been playing together for quite some time. He believes that this will not change at the world cup as these players lack the winning mentality.

Tony Adams said that you need to be strong mentally if you want to win a big tournament such as the World Cup and he does not feel that the England national team players have what it takes to win in in Russia.

The former Arsenal player said that the England national team also lacks a leader in the dressing room. He said that teams such as Spain has Ramos who is a warrior on the field but he does not believe that England has a player like this.

He said that it is one thing to perform during friendly games and another thing to win games at the World Cup. He said that the England national team will be hindered by a lack of experience at this tournament and he does not believe that they can go all the way to win the tournament.

Adams said that England has had a relatively easy draw and that they can go all the way to the quarter-finals if they play well. But he does not think that they will go beyond that. He believes that there are some stronger sides with experience of big competition and that the England national team will struggle against them.
